MD Termination Tool

The purpose of this tool was to aid the customer in determining the correct date for when patient's must be notified of a doctor who has moved, retired, or reducing their current panel size. Due to the dates being so closely tied with compliance guidelines, it was of the utmost importance to ensure all dates were accurate. The tool has two options: 60 days prior to leave or 30 day after notification depending on the situation. If a request was determined to be out of compliance, the tool would produce a warning message. If a compliance due date would fall on a weekend, it would instead populate the nearest Friday prior to ensure compliance guidelines were met. The tool helped the customer increase their compliance rate by 40%.
